- Noah's three sons repopulated the earth after the flood and this shifted the human race.

- When the Lord told Noah to build the ark, it was for him, his wife, his three sons and their wives, a total of eight that marked a new beginning of the human race after the flood. The rest taken on the ark were two of each animal.
