There are times where it may seem utterly hopeless, desolate and even barren. But, the Lord can make rivers in the desert. In the most driest places of your life HE can suddenly spring forth LIFE where it was once barren. He is the ressurrector of ALL things. The only one who holds all power and authority.
Isaiah 41:18 "I will open up rivers for them on the high plateaus. I will give them fountains of water in the valleys. I will fill the desert with pools of water. Rivers fed by springs will flow across the parched ground."
Where there has been hard ground, ground that has never been broken but just barrenness...It is the resurrection power that comes to SUDDENLY strike the ground. It is HIS power that causes things to break open. He is the life giver to everything. In the those dry hard places is where you come to know the Lord more intimately. He uses those hard times and trials to draw you closer to him.
Revelation 16:18 "And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty."
When the Lord is ready to bring his word to pass at the APPOINTED TIME in your life. He will suddenly manifest his word and step into your Krono's time to bring you a Kairo's moment. It is like Sarah who was in old age and barren to have children. But, the Lord made her a promise that she would have a son, an aire to Abraham's lineage. When the appointed time came for her to have that child it came to pass suddenly.
Hebrews 11:11 "By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised."
Sarah received power from God in her womb to conceive the child that the Lord promised her. It was by faith she received the power, an impartation to bring forth the promise. The Lord resurrected her barren womb suddenly to bring forth the manifestation of the word of God over her and Abraham's life. This was hard ground in their life that was barren and lifeless. They had no children to carry on the lineage. Not only did God make a promise but he multiplied it for Abraham because of his test of character and faith towards God.
Many times we are tested over and over in areas of our character, faith and where our heart is with the Lord. But, there is always hope and assurance that will fulfill his word and bring all that he has promised to pass in your life!
